GRØSS is a global art magazine that contrasts energetic youth culture with the white glove art industry, featuring photo shoots and in-depth interviews with each artist. We focused on creating a coffee table book in the shape of a magazine — zero corners were cut creating these magazines, down to choosing the perfect paper stock (anti-scuff might I add). We experimented with expressive typography, bold color, wild grids and texture. Inside, the magazine has removable stickers, created by the artists, which when peeled away reveal hidden content. The magazine can be found in more than 30 countries in small mom and pop stores. Volume 02 launched at Miami Art Week 2017 in Wynwood, Miami, where we briefly were the owners of a taxi cab, painted by those in attendance at the event.
